With the ubiquity of the opioid crisis, almost everyone knows someone who’s life has been affected by an opioid addiction that often began as a medically prescribed treatment. Regardless of how it began, people with opioid addictions are not criminals, they are people in need of treatment options that help them return to functioning within their families, communities and jobs. Therefore, we are proud to offer the services of our very own Dr. Carolyn Ross, M.D., who holds two board certifications in Preventive Medicine and Addiction Medicine. She also holds the necessary waiver granted by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to prescribe Suboxone, which is an opioid replacement maintenance therapy that helps those struggling with addition to manage cravings and be able to return to functioning over time.
